Our wonderful photographer sent me this link yesterday, and I just HAD to share it! I am SO excited to see the rest of the photos!

Before the Main Event

While I don't have many pictures of my actual wedding, (I couldn't really take pictures of myself getting married, and the photographer's pictures have yet to arrive) I do have quite a few of the church, decor and getting ready for the main event.

First....my dress. I absolutely LOVE my wedding dress and am still considering when it might be acceptable to wear it in the future. Let me know if you have good suggestions. Otherwise I might just revert to wearing it around my apartment all the time just because I love it so much!

A special thank-you shout out on this photo to Diana and my mom for all their hard work on the bouquets. I think they looked awesome and can't wait to make a cool keepsake arrangement out of my bouquet.

The church, sans people:

The veil that is draped from the baptistry was Mike's mom, Frankie's veil, and was made by her mother. My ringbearer pillows (unfortunately no picture of those) were made from my mom's wedding dress and my grandmother's wedding dress.

I thought this sign on the church was too cute.

Speaking of too cute, here are pics of us getting ready! Hehe. I didn't take all that many, but the ones I got are fun. Katie had an awesome playlist set up for us while we got ready at the church. Fun times!

Although I don't have any pics of my own from the wedding day...I do have LOTS of honeymoon pics. So, those are up next! I'll do my best to update soon!

Getting Married - The Planning and Beautifying

Welcome to our new blog! When I say "our," I mean mine and Mike's. But, let's acknowledge the fact that Mike will never post anything. Saying "our" just gives me free license to speak on his behalf whenever I want. hehe.

So, in our first ever married people blog, I'm going to fill you in on a tidbit of our pre-wedding fun! I like to refer to this as WoW, a.k.a. Week o'Wedding.

First...the bouquets. While Mom worked hard and tried not to hot glue her hands together or stab herself with the razor-sharp flower stems, Andrew and I decided to use the extra parts to accessorize

Aren't we just too cute! haha. The week was full of quirky cuteness, particularly when it came time for some of the ladies to get our nails done! Ooh la la...

Haha. Don't worry. We did finally decide to  trim them down. I was a little concerned that I might stab someone with those claws orth at Mike might have just a little bit of trouble getting my ring on over all that mess!

After all our planning and beautifying, the big day came.....but you'll have to wait for the next post for those pics! Get excited...and check back soon! (Or follow our blog to receive a notification when I post new updates!)
