The Honeymoon: Part 1

On the wedding night, Mike and I stayed at this adorable bed and breakfast in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It was a really nice place and breakfast the next morning was DELICIOUS!

Then, we took off for Orange Beach, Alabama, and saw this very appropriate sign along the way! We were on our way for our first ever vacation together, just the two of us.

We got to the time share (Thanks, Grandma and Martin!) pretty late that night, but checked in without any real issues. We weren't sure what to expect since we called ahead to request an ocean view room and were told that they were all booked up for that week! "Yeah, right." I thought. There's really no way that they were booked solid, but what they failed to mention is that EVERY room has an ocean view! haha. Needless to say, our room was AWESOME and we really enjoyed having the kitchen and extra living space so we could veg out!

Check out the view from our balcony!

We LOVED having this kitchen so we could take it easy in the morning and not have to worry about finding a place to go get breakfast.

The only bummer is that I didn't get a picture of our AWESOME bathroom. I mean, it was enormous! It had a nice size hot tub and a BIG shower, plus his & her sinks, a vanity area, closet space, and a closet with a washer and dryer. Yep...we were totally spoiled!

Here's the fantastic view from standing on our balcony! We saw very few signs of the oil spill except that it was never very crowded around the beach, restaurants or any tourist-y places. It was beautiful.

SUCH a pretty place!

We LOVED the place we stayed and enjoyed a couple of days just hanging out on the beach! It was wonderful! Special thanks to Grandma and Martin for sharing this special opportunity for us to stay in their time share exchange!

(Next post on deck should include a video from our dolphin cruise! I've been told that posting videos isn't too difficult, but we shall see. )
